Meet Mrs. Villanueva

Hello Pirates! 

My name is Stephanie Villanueva, but students call me Mrs. V. I am very excited to start my first year as a school counselor here at Swansboro Middle School. It has been a pleasure to meet the students since I have started working here. It is the highlight of my day, getting to know them. 

I have worked with children throughout my career in various areas. When I was working at an elementary school in Hawaii, I knew that I wanted to work in a school setting and be an advocate for students. It is my passion to advocate for students and to promote student success. As a school counselor, my responsibilities are to address academic, career, and personal social/emotional development for all students. I am very excited to be a part of the Swansboro Middle School team.     

A little about me; I have been married to my husband for 17 years and we have four children- Anthony (14), Phoenix (13), Jaxon (9), and Emilia (6). Due to my husband's career, we have lived in various places around the United States. I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, shopping, and exploring new places with my family. 

I cannot wait to meet our Swansboro Middle School students and their families!
